Precautions for use of the instrument

1. The palm centrifuge should be placed in a horizontal position during use, the voltage of the external power supply should match the instrument, and a good grounding wire is required. Do not stack sundries around the instrument, and leave at least 10 cm of space for the instrument to dissipate heat.

2. Before starting the machine, check whether the rotating head of the palm centrifuge is firmly installed and whether there is any foreign matter falling into the cavity. Check whether the anchor bolt, drum, triangle belt and brake device are intact and can work normally.

3. The sample should be pre-balanced. When using the centrifuge cylinder, the centrifuge cylinder and the sample should be balanced at the same time. It is not only necessary to ensure the equal weight balance of the sample, but also consider the balance of density and volume. Because the moment generated by centrifugation is not only related to the type of sample, but also related to the selection radius of sample. If the centrifuge is started under unbalanced load, it may damage the equipment and even the operator.

4. When centrifuging volatile or corrosive liquids, centrifuge tubes with covers should be used to avoid liquid leakage and damage to the instrument or danger.

5. Avoid using non-standard test tubes to insert the centrifuge rotor.

6. Do not run the equipment when the top cover of the centrifuge is opened. After centrifugation, wait until the instrument stops rotating completely before opening the top cover. If the centrifuge is abnormal during operation, turn off the power immediately and report to the technician for maintenance.

7. The use time of the handheld centrifuge is generally 1 to 2 minutes. The laboratory personnel should take care of the whole process and should not leave to avoid accidents.

8. The palm centrifuge should be cleaned in time after use, and the action should be light when wiping the cavity to prevent damage to the temperature sensor.

9. The centrifuge should be placed at dry room temperature to avoid direct sunlight and severe temperature changes, and be waterproof and moisture-proof.
