Ye Tuo Palm Centrifuge - Precautions for Palm Centrifuges

During the use of handheld centrifuges, the following precautions should be taken to ensure the integrity of operation and the accuracy of experimental results:

1、 Preparation before operation

Check the equipment: Before use, check whether the centrifuge and rotor are intact and undamaged, ensuring that there are no cracks or other damages.

Power supply and connection: Confirm that the power supply connection is stable and the voltage meets the equipment requirements. For electric handheld centrifuges, ensure that the battery is fully charged.

Balanced sample: Ensure that the sample tube placed in the rotor is balanced and symmetrical to avoid equipment vibration or damage caused by imbalance.

2、 During the operation process

Full cover locking: Before starting the centrifuge, ensure that the centrifuge cover is properly locked to prevent accidental opening.

Observe operation: After starting, pay attention to whether the equipment is running normally and whether there are any abnormal noises or vibrations. If any abnormalities are found, the operation should be stopped immediately and the cause checked.

Speed and time settings: According to the experimental requirements, set the centrifuge speed and time correctly to avoid sample damage or equipment damage caused by excessive rotation speed.

Prevent overload: Do not exceed the maximum load specified by the equipment to avoid affecting the centrifugal effect or damaging the equipment.

3、 After operation

Open the lid after stopping: After centrifugation is complete, wait for the rotor to stop rotating before opening the centrifuge lid to avoid accidents.

Cleaning equipment: Clean the rotor and centrifuge interior after use to prevent contamination or corrosion caused by residual samples.

Regular maintenance: Regularly maintain the equipment, check the wear of the rotor and other key components, and replace or repair them in a timely manner.

4、 Precautions

Avoid high temperatures or direct sunlight: The centrifuge should be placed in a cool, dry environment, away from direct sunlight or high temperatures, to prevent equipment aging or damage.

Prevent liquid leakage: Ensure that the sample tube is well sealed to prevent liquid leakage into the centrifuge, causing circuit short circuits or corrosion.

Use appropriate sample tubes: Choose sample tubes compatible with the rotor to avoid poor centrifugation or equipment damage caused by mismatched sample tubes.

Adhere to operating procedures: strictly follow the requirements of the equipment operation manual to avoid malfunctions or accidents caused by improper operation.

Special precautions

Low temperature operation: If using a cryogenic handheld centrifuge, be careful to avoid prolonged continuous operation to prevent overload of the cooling system.

Sample protection: For biological samples, pay attention to preventing cross contamination and handle the sample tube and centrifuge before and after use.

Emergency handling: In case of any unexpected situation during the operation of the equipment, the power should be immediately cut off, and inspection and handling should be carried out after the equipment has stopped.

By following the above precautions, the use of handheld centrifuges can be ensured, the service life of the equipment can be extended, and the accuracy and reliability of experimental results can be guaranteed.
